Bad Apple is a track that is part of the Bullet Hell game in the TouHou Project Series. A shadow art music video was then released accompanying the song, which has then spawned various people on the Internet playing Bad Apple on everything due to the video's simple nature of being in only two shades, lending it to be easily played on anything that can represent an ON and OFF state.

The video shown above is my project which dynamically injects and modifies the DOM elements of Spotify's Lyric Page to a white character or black character to show the silhouettes in the video.

Motivation

This project is just a fun side project for me to mess with various technologies. Python was used with CV2, Numpy and PIL to extract and parse all the video contents, JavaScript was used to dynamically inject and modify the DOM elements on Spotify's Lyric Page to create what you see on the video.
