WOAR? is a web application that contains information about whether an application provides an ARM/ARM64 version of an application that can run natively on the new Windows on ARM / CoPilot+ PCs. It does this by scraping the Winget Package Directory from Microsoft.
It uses Python to first parse and build an SQLite database, which gets read by Deno and builds a Lume static site containing all the information about the application's ARM / ARM64 offerings. Since information is given by the developer, it may not guarentee complete compatibility.
For updating the page, it uses Github Actions, which pulls the latest repository information, builds the site and releases the SQLite database every 12 hours. You can check it out here
This project was made as I needed a way to easily check current application compatibility with ARM as I was looking to purchase a ARM laptop for Windows. It has sadly proven that Microsoft isn't really very serious about pushing for ARM adoption, with the poor support for developers to port their applications, and bad marketing efforts to push these devices.
However, I still hope that this project can help to allay fears for people to choose ARM on Windows, as it certainly does have its benefits. You can check out the tool here
